Pay Tribute to these Sons of The Soil
"And those who lay their lives in the way of Allah, don't call them dead; They are alive (infact) and you dont know (Almighty's Blessings on Them)"
Government of the Punjab in its Policy recognises the Shaheed as 'Alive' as declared by the Quranic Injuction. The family members of the Shaheed are, therefore, entitled to full pay post-humous, and not pension. However, it is incumbent upon us to pay tribute to these Sons of the Soil. The department customarily sends bouquet of flowers and sweets to these families on Eid-ul-Fitr & Eid-ul-Azha. However, if a Philanthropist wants to support them or you simply want to send them a Card of Wishes on the coming Eid or their Anniversary (Date of Shahadat) you can contact the DSP .
